Newsom Educational College is a mission-driven, nonprofit, online institution currently in development, created to expand access to higher education for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Newsom Educational College is committed to inclusive, accessible, and student-centered learning that empowers every learner to grow academically, socially, and professionally.
This portal serves as Newsom Educational College’s learning portal, providing a centralized space for coursework, instructional materials, communication, and academic support. Courses are designed with accessibility, flexibility, and real-world relevance in mind, supporting diverse learning styles and needs.
Newsom Educational College is presently in its development and authorization phase and is not yet accredited or authorized to operate as a degree-granting institution. All programs and materials on this site are part of pilot planning, faculty development, and instructional design efforts in preparation for future launch, pending required approvals.
